Short Term Courses on IP BASICS and IP ADVANCED

Two courses namely IP Basics and IP Advanced were developed by us for Ericsson to train their Engineers to prepare the foundation to deal with the 3G Networks. These courses are both theoretical as well as practical with Switches to set up VLANs as well as with Cisco Routers to build OSPF based networks. The course also will focus on the protocols required for 3G namely IPv6, vpn, PPP, PAP, CHAP, RADIUS, DIAMETER, H.323, Media Gateways, NGN, SIP. A brief undersatnding of the signaling layers of 3G rel4. and Rel.5 will be given. IMS for the 3G Rel.5 will also be explained. The course will be useful for the GSM Engineers 1) on the Transmission side (to give IP addresses to the Microwave Radios on the BTS sites and to establish the NMS networking) 2)on the core network side to understand the Media Gateways and Soft switches and 3) on the Broadband side to provide applications like IPTV.

Minimum qualifications: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma/MCA.

A cerificate will be given at the end of the course.
